Spore Player Jester_prince is the third winner of our Spore Competition, winning the VIC treatment for his submitted creature, Worrizoid.
The VIC Treatment included having his favourite creation bought to life by MAp-MAp, a T-Shirt from Spreadshirt with his creature on it and his creature featured in full motion video on the EA UK Homepage.
Over the next few weeks we will be giving all the winners the VIC treatment, right here on spore.com
We spoke to Jester_Prince to find out more about Worrizoid and his thoughts on Spore and to ask the all important question, Pirates or Ninjas?
We Spoke to Jester_prince, also known as Arran about Spore and his experience with the creature creator.
PC Gamer UK Magazine.
Worrizoid took initially an hour or two to make, then days of fiddling. I thought to myself, there's not enough bad guys in spore, what we need is an armour plated bad ass that will rip the head off a childs teddy just because it kept staring at him, a creature that lives and breaths to fight things.
Lost count, more hours then my girlfriend would like..
Sharkoon Elite Guard by UglyJoe.
These creatures are the elite guard of the Royal Underwater Palace. They live at the bottom of the seas (therefore no eyes) guarding their kings treasures. Equipped with the Sacred Poseidon Breastplate of Honour made from magicaly enhanced Kraken shells and bones they prove to be one of the most diffucult enemies. Large horns are put to good use when charging at a group of oponnents. Massive jaw with razor-sharp teeth and their animal shark instincts makes them ruthless and unstoppable fighters. Can fall into a rage when wounded. All this makes Sharkoons the most wanted mercenaries in the whole underwater kingdom.
Creature phase, evolving something from nothing is what first attracted me to spore, i didn't even know about the other phases until later on in the development, they are just an added bonus.
Pirate, no honour, no rules and nothing stopping him fighting dirty.
