Description
The Goblin OSF (orbital superiority fighter) is a craft like no other. With none less than eight plasmatic rift drives it is the fastest sub warp ship in existence. This unfortunately means it needs to conserve its energy. Life support is minimal and shielding is nonexistent. So instead of pilots it was decided that drones will be much more effective with this fighter and indeed they were. Unlike their biological counterparts they lack fear and make decisions much faster, which in turn proved fatal to enemy fighters. Usually seen swarming out of Battleships during engagements, firing their heavy gauss cannons and AI missiles at the first sight of hostile ships. In sufficient numbers they will turn the tide of any battle. The craft was devised before the Wingle-Nepharian wars as a failsafe in case they would happen. Ironically they didn’t even see action before Phyla’s “revolution”. When the Nepharian’s saw that their own weapons were used against them they were even more stunned then by Phyla’s betrayal, when they saw that their equipment reserve was empty they knew exactly what happened.
